Youth Mentor/Navigator – Heavy Sound
- The successful candidate will embed themselves into Castlebrae Community Campus, supporting young people from that community both within the school environment and in the local community.
- 37.5 hours
- 12 month contract
- Salary: £27,000 – £28,500
- Work Location: Primarily based within Castlebrae Community Campus, Niddrie; and Niddrie/Craigmillar
communities, Edinburgh; with occasional travel to our main office at The Cockenzie Hub, East Lothian. - Closing date: January 3rd 2025
Neuro Stars Project Lead (Children & Young People)
- Hours: 18 hours per week. Set times at Tynecastle Park include Mondays 10am – 12pm (fortnightly for team meetings), every Tuesday 10am – 12pm for co working and Fridays 12.30pm – 5.00pm Remaining hours to be worked around the needs of the service, flexibly across the week.
- Fixed until 31st March 2026, with the possibility of continuation, subject to funding.
- £26,000 – £29,000 pro-rata

Welcome Through Football – Group Worker
- 7 hours per week – Term time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4.00pm – 7.30pm. 1/2 hour set up, 2 hours session time, 1hr clean up and evaluation at the end.
- Fixed until 31st October 2027, subject to funding (currently part funded through National Lottery Young Start Fund).
- £23,660 pro-rata

Kinship Care Project Lead (Carers)
- 16 hours per week.
- Set times include Monday morning (Coffee Mornings) 9.30am – 12pm, Tuesday morning co working in our office 10am – 12pm along with attending team meetings. Tuesdays 3.30pm – 7.30pm to lead on our Kinship Families group. Remaining hours to be worked around the needs of the service, flexibly across the week.
- £26,000 – £29,000 pro-rata

Sessional Detached Youth Worker – Youth Action Project
- Detached Youth Workers – several posts funded until June 30th 2025
- Part-Time. £12 – £15 per hour (dependent on experience), shift duration approx. 3-4 hours.
- The Youth Action Project require to increase our bank of part time youth workers, to directly deliver our street work/detached youth work service for young people and the communities of West Lothian.
- The Youth Workers will work in a variety of settings and will work alongside the Youth Action Project staff team and other partners.

Volunteer – Pilmeny Development Project

Awards Project Worker
- LAYC is recruiting a Project Worker to support the delivery of accredited learning and youth awards, within the network of community-based youth and children’s Member Groups within Edinburgh and the Lothians.
- The post will be based at LAYC and will have a Lothian-wide remit.
- The post will be fixed for an initial period of 2 years at 18 hours per week on a salary scale of £28,046 – £32,010 pro-rata, plus access to a 7% employers contribution pension.
