YMCA Edinburgh provide:
Mentoring- Targeted, referral based 1:1 mentoring support through intandem and Plusone programmes. Associated Wellbeing groups and additional specialised therapeutic focussed mentoring. . Youthwork support at Street Soccer Scotland Youth Session
Playrangers- Tuesdays and Fridays afterschool for Primary aged children. Free to access Outdoor Playrangers sessions with a focus on enjoying and improving local green spaces.
Playschemes- Fun, free to access, holiday activities for primary school aged children
Girls wellbeing- 2 groups, one for girls aged 8-11 and the other 12-15.
Youth Forum and Participation Work- Youth led approaches to local community issues. Supporting young residents of Cables Wynd House to have their voices heard in the resident’s forum.
Friday Night Lights- Early Intervention programme through football and youth work for 10-14 year olds.
Sports- youthwork support to popular Leith based Street Soccer Scotland football sessions.
Climate Action- Youth led approaches to addressing climate issues on a local level.
